ARQ is a daily coaching app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase). During your sessions, we collect the messages you write to your AI coach, your goal and coaching preferences, and your session history. We also collect payment information through Apple's App Store — we never see your card number directly.
Your session content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your AI coach's responses. We use your history to surface patterns and insights over time. We use your email to send account-related communications. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Your data is stored in Supabase, hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. Session messages and profile data are stored in a database accessible only to your account. Apple handles all payment data. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. You may export your session history by contacting support. You may update your profile information at any time from within the app.
ARQ uses the following third-party services: Anthropic (AI responses), Supabase (database and authentication), Apple App Store (payment processing). Each provider operates under their own privacy and security policies.
ARQ is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of ARQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
